This was my first win. Way back in 2002 I entered the student competition to design a series of posters for the Gariep Arts Festival. Being very green (look at those fonts š¤) I set out to design posters that I know people would want to take home, and it worked. Not only did I won first prize and got my party animalsĀ all over town, but the festival organisers also complained that people stole their posters. I take it as a compliment.
